By accessing or playing Peaktle you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Nature of the Service

Peaktle is a free educational and entertainment web application that challenges players to identify real mountains using progressively revealed geographic and historical clues. No account is required.

3. Educational & Entertainment Use Only

All elevation, prominence, first-ascent dates, country, range, and related figures are compiled from widely cited public sources and are approximate. They are intended solely for educational and entertainment purposes. Do not rely on Peaktle data for navigation, expedition planning, scientific research, or any life-critical or commercial decision.

4. Intellectual Property

The Peaktle name, design, game logic, and original content are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Mountain names and factual geographic data are not claimed as original intellectual property. You may share your personal game results (e.g., the colored-square “Summit Report”) freely.
